Joe Hart has opened up on what it feels like to win silverware at Celtic at this stage of his career. The 36-year-old has experienced impressive success in England as he won two English Premier League titles, two English League Cups and an FA Cup.
But after yesterday’s title celebrations, Hart explains why the current success he is experiencing at Celtic means more to him now than at any other point in his career.
Speaking post-match, Hart sounded emotional as he said, “It means everything. It’s special. Probably more now because I know that these days, there’s not that many of them ahead of me.

“I’m at a bit of a different point in terms of family.
“I’ve got children. It’s important days for them, important days for us. We go through a lot together and it’s nice to see that it’s all worth it.”
Hart is clearly loving life at Celtic. He came into the club at a time when we were undertaking one of the biggest rebuilds in our modern history. The former England international had to come into the club and hit the ground running.
The Celtic fans were still reeling at the loss of a record-breaking ten in a row and from watching Vasilis Barkas struggle for form.
Hart came in just after Celtic lost 2-1 to Hearts on the opening day of the 2021 season and made an instant impact. But not only with his performances for the team.
His leadership and experience were also vital in helping a new defensive backline settle in after some poor results in our opening games in the first season.
And the big Englishman isn’t finished yet. The Scottish Cup awaits Hart and Celtic next weekend. Should he win that, he will become only the second Celtic player ever to have won every domestic honour on both sides of the border and that is something he will savour for the rest of his life.
