Former Celtic legend John Hartson took to Twitter following his old team-mate Neil Lennon’s first game as Celtic’s interim boss.
Hartson wrote ‘Lucky Lennon’ following Odsonne Edouard’s late winning goal which clinched a 2-1 victory.
No doubt Hartson was being slightly tongue-in-cheek with his old pal. But the Hoops were a tad fortunate to grab the vital win.
Games that win titles

Still, as Hartson and Lennon both know, those are the type of games that win titles. If the Hoops had dropped points against Hearts, it would have been a huge boost for Rangers. Not only would the gap at the top of the league shrunk, but it would have shown that Brendan Rodgers’ departure had an effect on the pitch.

Players made of strong stuff
Thankfully for the Hoops, the players are made of strong stuff, even if it takes until injury time to get the winning goal.

In all honesty, it would not have been a shock if the Hoops had dropped points at Tynecastle after the week the club as had. But perhaps it is better to be lucky than good, although injury time winners often fall into both categories.
As for Celtic, the next test for Lennon and the team is a Scottish Cup quarter-final against Hibernian on Saturday. The Bhoys might well need to be lucky to get through to the semi-final, only time will tell.
