Celtic coach John Kennedy has made an admission that will please the Hoops support. Kennedy has revealed that he expects the Hoops to make ‘quality’ additions to the squad in the summer.
Whilst he believes that youth players will be the foundation of the club going forward, he has also disclosed that the Hoops plan to support that by bringing in players that will improve the squad going forward.
“We have young players already in the squad, and there are more behind them as well” he told the Scottish Sun.

“You have to bring in quality”
“But you have to bring in quality at the same time, and we’ll do that, I’m sure.”

This will please the Hoops support, as the club do need to add quality, especially if they want to make inroads in Europe next season.
A number of players could be leaving

A number of players could well be leaving in the summer. It is important that players of good quality come in to replacement.
It also looks as if Kennedy will continue to play a prominent role at Celtic no matter who the next manager at the club is.
That makes his comments on adding ‘quality’ seem quite important. He looks to be a key man at Celtic going forward, and he will be well aware of the plans going forward.
It looks set to be a very busy summer at Celtic Park.
