Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn loved the moment between Ange Postecoglou, Callum McGregor and Celtic supporters following yesterday’s win over St Johnstone.

The manager and captain took time out of their day after the fixture to spend time with a fan named Kevin, who was said by John Hartson to be in poor health of late. Rather than simply posing for a photo, the duo spent time talking to Kevin and making the group of Celtic supporters feel valued.

It’s a touch of class that has really resonated with fans viewing the footage, including McGinn, who took to social media this weekend to share his appreciation.

Since Postecoglou’s arrival in the summer, he’s really demonstrated awareness of the values that Celtic supporters hold dear. Beyond his ability as a football manager, he just comes across as a really decent human being.

Likewise, McGregor represents the armband with aplomb and has really stepped into Scott Brown’s shoes as a fine club ambassador.

What happened yesterday was just a small gesture, but it’s one Kevin and his family will no doubt treasure.

It’s fantastic to see the moment shared with so many people online too, and become one of the feel-good stories of yesterday’s Scottish Premiership clash.

In other news, Hibernian appear to be wandering into a crisis ahead of Celtic clash.
