Hearts defender John Souttar wants his side to emulate Andy Robertson against Barcelona.
He wishes his teammates had his attitude for the Barcelona legs that saw them reach the final.
This would be all well and good and spiritual if he could remember one thing.
Robertson’s substitution to bring on Georginio Wijnaldum won them the tie. Hardly something Hearts will want to copy this Saturday against Celtic.
John Souttar makes Robertson link
The Scotland defender seems to forget that in all honesty, Robertson did little to help the reds qualify.

He played in the Camp Nou where they were trounced 3-0 and came off winning just 1-0 at Anfield.
Nevertheless, he is calling on his Hearts players to have the same attitude.
He told the Daily Record: “Andy was incredible against Barca. It’s brilliant, he plays without fear — and that’s what we’ve got to do at the weekend.
“That’s what Andy does in every game. He doesn’t think about it, no matter who he plays, he just stays focused.”
If Souttar wants his Hearts players to be beaten and come off injured – a lot of Celtic fans would take that.

This said, the Liverpool achievement is grand and every Scot will be wishing Robertson a good match in Madrid.
John Souttar confides in St Johnstone run
The odds are against the Jambos on Saturday as Celtic are big favourites to win the final.
However, Souttar is taking heart from teammate Steven McLean who won the trophy with St Johnstone.
He said: “I might be wrong but in the season when Steven MacLean won the Cup with St Johnstone I don’t think they won many in the top six before that.

“They went up to Inverness and got beat 3-0 the week before. It’s a one-off game. Form doesn’t really count in the Cup Final.”
If Sunday was to go by, then the Hoops have nothing to worry about as the patchy line-up got over the line at Parkhead.
This weekend, all the big hitters will be back and fighting fit against Hearts.
It’ll take hope on more than a few fronts to be able to overcome the team chasing a treble treble.
