Celtic defender Josip Juranovic is set for a reunion with Vinicius Junior when Croatia take on Brazil on Friday.
The pair went head-to-head as right-back and left-winger during Celtic’s two meetings with Real Madrid in the Champions League this season.
World-class Vinicius, who has been tearing it up in Qatar for the tournament favourites, netted twice in two games against Ange Postecoglou’s side.

His opener in the matchday one clash at Celtic Park saw him profit from some poor Juranovic positioning, and the defender will have to learn his lessons for the Education City Stadium meeting.
Regardless of Juranovic’s record against Vinicius, or any other elite attacker, this season, it’s just great to have a Celtic player playing at the business end of a major competition.
The experience Juranovic, Maeda, Mooy and others will have taken from this competition should serve Celtic well in the following months.

Now to find out if the Champions League experience will help or hinder Juranovic.
It looks a tough ask for him against Vinicius and his ultra confident Brazil team-mates.
Croatia vs Brazil will take place on Friday at 3pm Celtic Park time.
