Kasper Schmeichel has quickly settled into life at Celtic as his experience and quality continue to shine through between the sticks.
Since arriving on a free transfer after leaving Anderlecht, the 37-year-old has kept four clean sheets in his opening five appearances for the Bhoys.
Impressing with his safe handling and composure on the ball, the former Leicester City man looks to be every inch the show-stopping goalkeeper. He is also still leading from the front at international level.
Still valued as a crucial player by Denmark boss Lars Knudsen, Schmeichel remains key to their set-up and played last night as The Red and Whites got off to a winning start against Switzerland in the Nations League, putting them top of League A Group 4.

Enjoying another productive outing, Schmeichel kept up his habit of collecting clean sheets as Denmark saw off Switzerland 2-0 last night in a feisty affair.
The visitors finished the game with nine men after Nico Elvedi and Granit Xhaka were given their marching orders. In total, the Celtic goalkeeper only faced one shot on target, which he duly dealt with.
In keeping with his positive start to life at Celtic, Schmeichel remained the picture of composure on the ball, completing 15 of his 20 attempted passes and four accurate long balls [Fotmob].
Admittedly, the veteran will have played in more difficult games during his career. However, he is always alert to danger, so he proved once again last night.
Overall, he can be pleased with a fine night’s work as Denmark start atop of their Nations League group above Spain, Serbia and Switzerland.
Now, Schmeichel will need to wait and see if he is in contention to play against Serbia on Sunday or whether Mads Hermansen or Peter Vindahl Jensen will get the nod.
