It’s now time for Kelechi Iheanacho to do his talking on the field of play.
When the September international break concludes, Celtic will resume Premiership action when they travel to Rugby Park to take on Kilmarnock.
It’s the start of a flurry of matches for Brendan Rodgers’ side, including their Europa League journey, and Iheanacho is doing everything he can to be as ready as possible.
It remains to be seen when Iheanacho will begin Celtic training because judging by footage he is posting on social media, he is training on his own, at this moment in time.

Celtic’s new signing Kelechi Iheanacho posts training footage on Instagram
After Iheanacho signed for Celtic, he has posted several clips of himself on Instagram being put through his paces.
The 28-year-old only started 16 matches last season for Sevilla and Middlesbrough, respectively, and he hasn’t had a pre-season, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he needs extra time to get going.
But this is the footage Iheanacho posted on his socials, alongside a small message that read: ‘Re-Engineering during the International Break! 🙏🏿💡#SMK.’
Iheanacho’s trainer on his fitness
The man who is helping Iheanacho build up his fitness is a UEFA-licensed coach, Kwaku Ohemeng.
When Celtic’s new signing posted footage of himself training on his IG, his trainer responded in the comments section and made an exciting claim about how the work he has done will ‘carry you far this season.’
Every Celtic supporter will be delighted to hear it!
Kwaku Ohemeng: ‘The work we have put in will carry you far this season. I pray for injury-free and God guidance for you, my brother 🙏🏽. Big up yourself ❤️.’
