We’re just two days out from Celtic’s Viaplay Cup semi-final against Kilmarnock at Hampden Park.
Ange Postecoglou’s side are big favourites to reach the final of the competition for the sixth time in seven seasons, but Killie are keen to make a fist of it if their chat on social media is anything to go by.
Since full-time in their loss at Celtic Park on Saturday, the Rugby Park side have posted a number of sentimental sounding tweets.

Right after their 2-0 loss last weekend, the official account posted saying it would be “a different ball game” at Hampden Park.
And today, they posted an image of their cup final winner against Celtic in 2012, alongside the caption: “In a one-off game, anything can happen.”
These tweets are hardly crime of the century, and something would be wrong if they weren’t talking up their chances.
But the reality is that the words are just words. The real action will be sorted out on the pitch on Saturday evening.
Today’s tweet is a reminder to Celtic fans of how Hampden Park used to be for us.
We would routinely venture to Mount Florida and lose important semi-finals and finals. Rangers, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Ross County, St. Mirren, Hearts and Kilmarnock all beat us within the space of a few years.

Since Brendan Rodgers’ arrival in 2016, our form at Hampden has been pretty flawless – with the defeat to Rangers in April the only black mark.
This Celtic team are in a great place. Most of them have great experience at Hampden.
Hopefully we do our talking on the pitch.
In other news, Shunsuke Nakamura has been approached about a coaching role that could see him work with Celtic’s Japanese stars
