Celtic outcast Kundai Benyu is hopeful that a loan move to Helsingborgs can salvage his Hoops career. The midfielder joined the Swedish side on loan last month.
The player, who has not featured for the Hoops this season, believes that playing regular football can only help further his cause at Celtic.
“This is a good club, it is good standard in Swedish football. Hopefully I can play many games and return there to see what the plan is there” he revealed to FootballSkanalen.
Hard to make breakthrough

Benyu signed a four-year deal with the Hoops in 2017. He has found it hard to make the breakthrough at Celtic though.
He has made only four appearances in his two years at the club so far. Last season he did have a spell on loan at Oldham, but he made only five appearances for the League One side.

With midfield such a populated area of the Celtic squad, it is not surprising that the player has yet to make the breakthrough for the Hoops.
A player for the future

Perhaps former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers saw the player as one for the future when he decided to sign him. Benyu will no doubt be given a chance at Celtic now that Rodgers has departed.
After all, it is a clean slate for everyone at the club. It would be a bit of a shock though, if he established himself at the club after two years of rarely featuring.
