Kundai Benyu posts bizarre cryptic message

Forgotten Celtic man Kundai Benyu seems to have something bothering himself at the moment.

The 21-year-old, who’s currently out on loan at Helsingborgs in Sweden, isn’t enjoying the best of spells. The former Oldham man was making inroads in the Allsvenskan not so long ago, but now he’s looking like a fringe player – much like he was in Glasgow.

Benyu hasn’t made his loan side’s matchday squad for the last four games, with the departure of Celtic legend Henrik Larsson as manager clearly not helping his case.

And now Benyu has taken to Instagram to post an interesting, cryptic message. The midfielder posted an inspirational quote that could quite frankly mean anything.

A parting would be best for Benyu and Celtic

The 21-year-old is quite possibly the most forgotten about man at Celtic, and that’s saying a lot while the likes of Daniel Arzani and Marian Shved are around. Benyu still has another few months left on his loan deal at Helsingborgs before he returns to Glasgow – but it doesn’t look like he has much of a future at either club.

Celtic’s big challenge will be moving him on as quickly as possible. Benyu is contracted at the club until the end of next season and he may not be in too much of a rush to move, given the wage he is likely to be on.

But it would be best for both the club and the player if a mutual parting did arrive. Benyu has no chance of making it at Celtic but he still has a good chance to make a career somewhere else.

Hopefully he can put those current grievances aside and get to work.
