Kyogo Furuhashi is the latest player to be put forward for the club’s Q+A series on social media, addressing a number of queries put forward by the Celtic support.

Kyogo remains Celtic’s top scorer this season despite not starting a game since December. He suffered a debilitating hamstring injury and has only recently returned to making appearances off the bench.

He’s still a favourite with fans, so there was no surprise he received hundreds of questions when the club asked for them to be sent in.

One was about his closest allies in the Celtic dressing room, to which he replied: “We are all very close but especially Liel Abada, Jota, Anthony Ralston – everybody really!”

Another was about his favourite song from the terraces and Kyogo is a fan of the stirring anthem before matches, stating: “My chant and You’ll Never Walk Alone. I can feel the unity and integration through these songs!”

His favourite moment in a Celtic shirt so far came at Hampden as he said: “Winning the League Cup! Thanks to the fans, the staff and my teammates I was able to score two goals to help the team.

“I’ll never forget the happiness I had in that moment! We play football to feel that emotion.”

It’s all good fun to cut the tension of a big week. Celtic are currently preparing to face Ross County in Dingwall on Sunday in a must-win fixture.

Supporters know what it means and after Sunday’s defeat to Rangers are desperate to get back to winning ways and stamp authority on the Scottish Premiership.

No doubt Kyogo will play a big role!
