When it comes to Neil Lennon’s time as Celtic interim boss, one major disappointment is the lack of playing time for Timothy Weah.
In the four games Lennon has been interim manager for, Weah has not started any of the matches. Indeed, he has only played 33 minutes in those matches.
Game seemed tailor-made for Weah

That is unfortunate, when you consider how poor the Hoops have been at times in the four games. The Dundee game seemed tailor-made for Weah, but he only played the last 12 minutes.

PSG won’t be very impressed at the lack of game time for Weah in recent weeks. Unless things change in the next few weeks, the chances of the player returning to Celtic next season would look to be remote.

A fear he could go on to great things
There has to be a fear that when Weah leaves the Hoops, the player could go on to have a great career. His time at Celtic may well be a footnote in what could be an exceptional career.
Maybe a different manager would give Weah more of a role. Sadly for the player, Lennon is at Celtic for the rest of the season. Weah’s game time looks set to continue to be limited.
Of course, things can change very quickly in football. But Weah doesn’t look set to play a huge part in Celtic’s quest for the domestic treble.
