Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has opened up on how to have a successful strike partnership, the Daily Record reports.
Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard have worked well together since the turn of the year, and the Hoops striker hopes the partnership doesn’t end anytime soon.
He has now disclosed the secrets behind how to make a strike partnership successful.
“We’re striking up an understanding so that it’s not all just off the cuff” Griffiths said, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“I know where he is going to be”
“We don’t need to ask ourselves where the other one is because I know where he’s going to be. It started in Dubai where we first hit it off and long may it continue” he concluded.

It is interesting to note that the Hoops don’t seem to play as well when the duo of Edouard and Griffiths aren’t in a strike partnership.
A case in point is the recent 2-2 draw with Livingston. In that game, Edouard was the lone striker, with Griffiths on the bench.
However, the Hoops struggled to create chances in that game, and it was no surprise to see Neil Lennon turn to Griffiths in the second-half and bring him on as the Hoops searched for an equaliser.
Duo will surely be reunited in next league game
You have to think that as the Hoops prepare to take on St Mirren on Saturday, that Lennon will once more pick the duo of Griffiths and Edouard.

The pair have arguably worked better than possibly anyone could have expected. Therefore, it makes sense for the duo to link up and score the goals that fire the Hoops closer to the title.
Will the duo then start against Rangers at Ibrox? That remains to seen, but a start against St Mirren is a must.
