Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths spent part of Monday answering questions from Hoops fans on the club’s Instagram account.
One question he was asked was to name his ideal Celtic five-a-side team of players past and present. He was asked to include himself in the side, which is fair enough, as he is a great goalscorer.

He named Fraser Forster in goals, Virgil Van Dijk, Scott Brown and Kieran Tierney as the players who would be ideal to play five-a-side with.

That is certainly an intriguing list of players that the Hoops striker has selected. It could be suggested that it is perhaps the best players that Griffiths has played with in his time at the club.
Best players he has played alongside?
Forster has proven to be a superb goalkeeper in both of his spells with the club. Virgil Van Dijk was a defensive rock for the Hoops, and has gone on to great things at Liverpool.

There is nothing more that needs to be said about Scott Brown. His Celtic success has been phenomenal in his 10 plus years at the club.
As for Kieran Tierney, he seems to have been slightly forgotten about since he moved to Arsenal. That shouldn’t be the case though. He was a wonderful player for the Hoops.
Who else could he have chosen?
Is there any other players Griffiths could have chosen? Maybe a more attacking midfielder like Stuart Armstrong, who could chip in with a goal or two.
However, you can’t really complain about the players Griffiths has chosen, and after all, it is only a bit of fun. It also gives the Hoops support something to talk about during this current football lockdown, which doesn’t look like ending any time soon.
