Neil Lennon may have confirmed that he’ll be the new permanent Celtic manager with a post on social media.
The Northern Irishman’s official Facebook account posted the message “The new chapter 2019. Bring it on.” at midday on Tuesday.
Lennon and Celtic have been quiet since Saturday evening when he was offered the job by chief executive Peter Lawwell. The club said they hoped to make an announcement “in the coming days” but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Now, Lennon’s post on Facebook suggests that he is ready to pen to paper and become the permanent Celtic manager once again.

No honeymoon period
Lennon won’t have too much time to bask in the glory of netting his dream job again. Celtic play their first pre-season friendly in just four weeks time. The first Champions League qualifier will take place shortly after that.
He must look to add reinforcements to a weary squad quickly as well as working out which players are free to go. He also has the task of sorting out a backroom team that he trusts. Johan Mjallby would be an obvious candidate to rejoin Celtic but the likes of John Kennedy and Damien Duff are valued members of the current setup.

Celtic have a lot to sort between now and our first competitive match and not a lot of time to do it. The pressure is on Lennon as he begins his new chapter.
