Neil Lennon does not want any of Celtic’s most important players to leave the club in the summer transfer window.
But he knows that should a huge bid come in for one of the Hoops’ most important players, Celtic would have a big decision to make.
“Every player has his price” Lennon said, as reported by the Evening Times.
“I said the other day that Ronaldo went from Manchester United, the biggest club in the world. We don’t want to sell any more top players if we can avoid it.”
Players will only depart at right price

Lennon’s tone might be a tad ominous, but it is a realistic attitude to have. Every player at Celtic could be considered for sale – but it has to be at the right price.
That is why the Hoops’ stance on Kieran Tierney has been the right one. Celtic will only contemplate selling the player if their valuation of the player is met.
So far, Arsenal have not done that, and as a result the player is still at Celtic.
A wrench for the club when top player departed

It was a wrench for the Hoops when Moussa Dembele left last summer, and it would be the same this season should the likes of Tierney, or Callum McGregor depart.
However, the days of the Hoops not getting the acceptable money for their big name players are at an end. That would be the only good thing to come out of any potential departures this summer.
