The reported interest by Lille in Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham is intriguing.
Ntcham is an apparent target report Get French Football in the event of a star leaving in January.
A move back home to France will put himself in the driver’s seat for a national team call-up.
Furthermore, in a tactical standpoint, Lille are an ideal club for the Hoops midfielder to go.
Lille in for Celtic man Olivier Ntcham at right time
Christophe Galtier can definitely spot a central midfielder for his Lille side.

However, the low point of taking one point from the Champions League means there is work to do.
Ntcham is the ideal player for Les Dogues to build a team around similar to Celtic.
If the 23-year-old joins Lille then he will be partnered alongside the driven midfielder, Benjamin André.
André is the coy summer transfer from Rennes who worked his way up to be captain.
He is a similar player to the Celts’ skipper Scott Brown but is a few years younger and more physical.
Ntcham would slot straight into the Lille midfield alongside Ntcham with ease due to André’s similarities with Broony.

André would be doing the leg work allowing Ntcham to have essentially a role to breathe around the pitch.
But, this could have been the best option for Celtic a few months ago too.
Missed chance for the Hoops to rebuild with Benjamin André
As previously stated, André was available in the summer and for just over £6 million.
Going on the Hoops summer spending, André was the man to come in and set the heather on fire.
He is the ideal replacement for Brown who is considering his career despite signing a new deal.

The fans would have immediately fallen in love with André’s drive and determination akin to Brown.
This is an opportunity that The Bhoys failed to take as Brown will be a hard player to replace for what he gives.
Now, Galtier is perhaps getting his chance to install this chance missed on his own side.
It remains to be seen if this will come off, but if it does, there is no doubt it will be a resounding success.
