Loic Damour could be in line for an awkward experience against Celtic tonight – should he be selected by Hearts boss Daniel Stendel.
The French midfielder is likely to have riled Hoops skipper Scott Brown after he made some strange comments following the most recent meeting between the sides.
Damour was a passenger for most of the pre-Christmas Tynecastle clash – as Neil Lennon’s men strolled to a comfortable 2-0 victory.

And it was his off-field antics that made more of the headlines on the evening, as he gave a staggering post-match interview to the Edinburgh Evening News.
Damour said: “I enjoyed the battle, especially with Brown, I think his name is.
“Apparently he is like the king of the league because he can do whatever he wants on the pitch and the referee never says anything.
He is the referee on the pitch and that is seemingly normal here.

“I was very frustrated about that so I wanted to let him know we have a referee on the pitch and he is not the referee.”
Brown will hope that Damour gets Celtic Park nod
While Brown may simply have found Damour’s comments a little amusing, he’s also likely to relish the chance to continue to put the former Cardiff man in his place this evening.
However, Damour looks likely to be spared the embarrassment of coming up against Broony
He hasn’t featured at all for the Jambos in 2020 so far after being one of the many changes made by Stendel since the tail end of last year.

However, Damour is still at the club and made the matchday squad for the first time in four matches at the weekend.
That means that he is still somewhat in the reckoning for a starting berth at Paradise. And wouldn’t Brown just love that.
