Celtic loanee Daniel Arzani has given a brutally honest verdict of his time at the club so far. The midfielder has admitted that there have been ‘a lot of ups and downs’ in the year he has spent in Glasgow.

“A lot of ups and downs” he said, in a video that appeared on Celtic’s YouTube channel.

“Coming here, for me, was a big high. Making my debut again, another big high. Obviously, the ACL after that a bit of a low” he continued.

“Feeling really good”

“I’m feeling really good now, coming into next season” he continued.

It has not been easy for the player at Celtic. Suffering a serious injury on your debut must not be good for your confidence.

However, as the player states, he does feel good going into next season. Neil Lennon will be looking forward to working with the player.

Time marred by injury

Arzani’s qualities are not yet known to the wider support. His time at the club has been marred by his ACL injury.

He does deserve credit for being so honest about his time at the club so far. Hopefully now that his injury problems have cleared up, Arzani can make the most of his next year at Celtic.

He still has 12 months of his loan deal to run. Hopefully he can make the most of the time he has left at the club.
