Lewis Morgan made his return to Celtic Park on Saturday. The winger started the goalless draw with Rennes. It was Morgan’s first appearance at Celtic Park since last year. He spent the second-part of last season on loan at Sunderland.
However, it seems that Hoops boss Neil Lennon is a fan of the player. He brought him on as a second-half substitute against Sarajevo in the Champions League qualifiers. Now he has started the pre-season friendly.
Morgan has revealed what the Celtic boss wants him to do this season to become a regular in the team.
“Get fans off their seats”
“The manager has been clear in what he wants from me. He wants me to be direct and get fans off their seats” he told the official Celtic Twitter account.

It will be hard for Morgan to secure a regular place in the team, he has to compete with the likes of Scott Sinclair and James Forrest for a place on the wing.
A clean slate for the player
However, it is a clean slate for him at Celtic. Neil Lennon didn’t manage the player last season. If he can impress Lennon, he could find himself in the Hoops first-team.
Morgan knows what to do to stand-out at Celtic Park. If he takes heed of the manager’s advice, he could yet make it at Celtic.
