Celtic interim manager Martin O’Neill was one of those who was in attendance for the funeral of John Robertson.
Robertson died on Christmas Day at the age of 72 in 2025 and played alongside O’Neill at Nottingham Forest when they won the European Cup in 1979 and 1980.
After retiring from football, the pair worked together, with O’Neill appointing his close friend as his assistant manager.
He followed the Northern Irishman to Celtic in 2000 and spent the full five years with him as well.
