Martin O’Neill has to start these two Celtic stars against Falkirk

Martin O’Neill’s starting XI for Celtic vs Falkirk will be interesting to see but, there must be two players that have to be included in the team.

Celtic could go level on points with Hearts if they win all three points and the underlying data suggests that the Hoops will beat Falkirk.

There is no room for error now in these final five games of the season, and O’Neill needs to go with those who he knows have what it takes to get the Bhoys over the line.

James Forrest and Kelechi Iheanacho must start for Celtic

If it wasn’t for the duo of James Forrest and Kelechi Iheanacho, Celtic may not have a Scottish Cup final date against Dunfermline to look forward to.

Forrest and Iheanacho combined together to take the game by the scruff of its neck in extra-time and put the Hoops back in the ascendency.

Celtic’s most-decorated player has signed a new one-year deal, still has plenty to contribute, and deserves to start after impressing off the bench for the Bhoys.

As for Iheanacho, the striker’s stats in big games proves that he is the man to lead the line. O’Neill may have concerns about the Nigerian’s fitness but if he can put in an hour’s shift and add some more goals, it will be more than enough.
