Marvin Compper’s position at Celtic now finally has some clarity, after eagle-eyed supporters spotted him.
Celtic’s Twitter account has been going full-throttle with the images from Dubai. The Hoops players have been training in luxury over in the UAE, with many player images being published on the account.
Yet, one particular photo from the club showed a far away shot of the players doing their training.
And, if you have the eyes to spot it, you’ll see Compper joining in with his team-mates too. For those who haven’t seen it yet, take a look behind Anthony Ralston, who’s seventh in the image of the queue of players jogging.
Question marks still hover, but there’s not much wrong with him
It’s clear from the image that there’s not a lot wrong with Compper in terms of injury woes. With how it’s been reported in the past, many fans would’ve expected to see him on crutches.
His participation in training is a good step, but still plenty of questions remain unanswered. Whilst we all know someone has made a blunder with the signing, we also don’t know if he fits in at all with Rodgers’ plans.
MORE CELTIC STORIES
The Hoops manager has been reluctant to admit anyone has bombed with Compper. At the same time, however, he’s also refused to confirm whether we’ll ever see him again in a Celtic jersey.

The defender has, in the past, questioned why he doesn’t get a game. The club and Compper were both reportedly looking to get him out this month. Therefore, it’s interesting that he’s headed to Dubai for now.
It’s a plus to see that there are no major injury concerns, but it’s likely not going to matter regarding his playing-time.
Celtic are going to have to make massive moves regarding their defence over the next six months or so. Dedryck Boyata’s contract runs out at the end of the season, whilst Filip Benkovic will return to Leicester City at the end of his loan period.
Jack Hendry could also be set for a loan move this January too. Compper, however, is surely still going to be out the door regardless of his training participation.
