Callum McGregor knows that Celtic will be up against it in the second leg of their Europa League tie against Valencia.
The Hoops will travel to Spain with a 2-0 deficit to overcome in a forlorn looking task.
However, McGregor has outlined what must be done to pull off the upset in the Mestalla stadium.
“We’ve got to be positive going into it” he told the Scottish Sun.
“It will be a tough task but we have picked up our away performances in Europe and found a way to nick points.
“We have to draw on that experience and try to be positive.”
Celtic have improved away from in Europe this season, the 1-0 win over Rosenborg is an example of that.
However, as McGregor has stated above it will be a very tough task for the Hoops. The team selected by Brendan Rodgers for the tie will tell you all you need to know.
Should Rodgers pick his strongest side, the Hoops are well within their rights to go all out for the win. The likes of Odsonne Edouard and Kieran Tierney must start for the Hoops to have a chance of victory.
With the Hoops in the middle of a tough title race a confidence draining defeat to Valencia was the last thing they needed.
It is good to see that McGregor still has faith in his team-mates though. Only time will tell if that faith is justified.
