Miller’s advice for Celtic captain Scott Brown is laughable

Former Celtic and Rangers striker Kenny Miller is the latest ex-pro to have a go at Scott Brown.

The Hoops captain is being criticised for celebrating his side’s derby win at the weekend.

Brown was physically assaulted twice in the match but banter is where Miller draws the line.

Hypocritical for the man who continually wound up his former team when scoring for their rivals.

Miller is wrong on Brown advice

The Dundee forward believes Brown should have been the bigger person during the whole fiasco.

Forgetting that the captain was a target in the game twice and was also the wind-up target by jubilant Gers back in December.

He took it on the chin after the defeat and acted amicably and is allowed to have his fun now.

Miller told the Daily Record: “Show a bit of class. You’ve won the game, you are going to win another title and you are on for a Treble.

“You don’t need to do that. You’re the Celtic captain and you were the captain of the national team.

“You can be bigger. Go and celebrate, rightly so, with your own fans. I haven’t seen the gesture but there is a reason why he’s been cited.”

Miller is worst player to give advice

It’s also pretty rich that Miller of all people is coming out and giving advice on not upsetting rival fans.

The 39-year-old crossed the Glasgow divide twice and wound up both teams’ fans by scoring.

In one occasion, he celebrated right in front of the cameras in the Celtic end after scoring for Rangers.

Plus, as a Celtic player, he celebrated by fist bumping the badge.

It appears the former Scotland striker is forgetting who he is and what he did in his past.

He should concentrate trying to save an awful Dundee team from relegation before talking about other players and clubs.
