Mitchel Frame is one of the former youngsters who left Celtic in the summer in the hope of realising his first-team dream elsewhere.
The left back signed for Aberdeen for a reported fee of £200,000 but has had to wait to play for the Dons.
Interim boss Peter Leven handed him his debut in the Scottish Cup win against Raith Rovers, with Frame impressing at Pittodrie.
He has since been attracting interest from Scottish Championship sides, and Leven has provided an update on where he may be heading.

Peter Leven wants to keep Mitchel Frame at Aberdeen
Despite impressing in his 45-minute cameo, Frame will be hoping that he can make more of an impact going forward.
So far it hasn’t been too different to waiting in the wings at Celtic, and the full-back will want that to change.
While a loan move may seem beneficial, Leven hopes he stays with the Dons.

“I thought he was excellent when he came on. He has trained really, really well in the last two weeks. As I have said, if people train well then I will give them opportunities,” admitted the interim manager.
“He has trained really well and I am delighted he has made such a good debut.
“I hope he stays. He has just played 45 minutes. He is someone we have brought to the club for the future, but he played on Sunday and hopefully he can kick on from here.”
