Celtic loanee Mohamed Elyounoussi certainly seems to be enjoying life with the Scottish champions. He is playing football on a regular basis, unlike when he was at Southampton.

He is using that playing time well, as he has scored seven goals for the Hoops so far this season. Elyounoussi seems to be enjoying playing with his Celtic team-mates, and he has singled out James Forrest in particular as a player he is impressed with.

“I’ve been really impressed with James. He’s an amazing player” he said, as reported by the Scottish Sun.

“He set me up for my first goal against Hibs at the weekend with a great delivery, and he is a top player. He’s a brilliant boy off the pitch as well. I enjoy playing with him.”

Forrest’s cross for Elyounoussi’s header against Hibs was certainly a thing of beauty. It was right onto the attacker’s head, and he finished in style.

It is good to see that the Hoops have two players on the wing who are contributing with both goals and assists. Celtic boss Neil Lennon will be likely start both players in the upcoming Europa League clash against Lazio. If the duo perform well, the Hoops could pull off a memorable result.

Elyounoussi didn’t have the best game against Lazio a fortnight ago. However, he has been on a very good run of form since then.

Hopefully that bodes well for the match in Rome. He has the ability to almost win a game on his own. The player has shown on numerous occasions why Southampton paid £16 million for him.
