Celtic’s recent loan signing from Stoke, Moritz Bauer, has stated that he wants to give Hoops boss Neil Lennon a most welcome problem.
The Hoops right-back hopes to establish himself in the Hoops side, and give the Celtic manager a selection dilemma.
“Want to be part of it”

“I try to give everything in training and give the gaffer a selection headache. I want to be part of it” he said, as reported by the Celtic Twitter account.
Bauer is obviously going to be a contender for first-team action this season. This was shown when he made his debut as a substitute in the recent win over Rangers.
He will be hoping to feature for the Hoops regularly as it would improve his chances of landing a permanent deal with Celtic at the end of the season.
Battle on his hands for first-team place

However, the player will be fully aware that he has a battle on his hands to hold down a place in the Hoops first team.
He will be attempting to dislodge Hatem Abd Elhamed from his place as the Hoops’ current number one right-back.
However, he could be given a chance for a first start against Hamilton on Saturday. Elhamed may have to move into central defence due to injuries.
Therefore, Bauer could make his full debut at right-back. He will be looking to turn in an eye-catching display for the Hoops.
Should he display all of his qualities in a Hoops win, then he will give the Celtic boss the ‘selection headache’ he hopes to provide.
Bauer would then be under consideration for a start against Rennes in the Champions League. Firstly though, he has to feature against Hamilton.
