Motherwell have this morning confirmed just how much it will cost Celtic supporters to watch their trip to Fir Park next Saturday.
Motherwell vs Celtic will take place immediately after the international break. Ange Postecoglou’s side are looking to build some momentum on the back of their big 2-1 win at Aberdeen on Sunday.
However, disappointingly, the game isn’t being broadcast on Sky Sports. Given games also aren’t broadcast live for UK and Ireland-based Celtic TV subscribers, the only way to watch is via Motherwell’s own streaming service.

And the Fir Park club have this morning announced that the game will only cost supporters £12. This is for all UK and Ireland-based Celtic and Motherwell supporters.
Celtic fans living abroad can use their own Celtic TV subscription to watch the match live. The same goes for fans of the Fir Park club on Motherwell Live.
The Motherwell game isn’t the only upcoming Celtic away-day to be snubbed by Sky either. Our trip to Hibernian also isn’t being broadcast on live TV.
Motherwell produce modest asking price for Celtic match
Credit to Motherwell here. Celtic fans had to fork out a ridiculous £20 to watch their side against Livingston several weeks ago. It’s great to see the Steelmen ask for a more reasonable amount from supporters.
This is more in line with what we should expect when it comes to PPV prices. And just the opportunity to be able to see the match live is a boost for supporters.
Sure, Motherwell have seen an opportunity here. They’re quite right too. It’s a chance for them to get some extra income in. But they’re providing a valuable service, and it’s something you can expect many Celtic fans to snap up.

On the flip side, this is really disappointing from Sky Sports. You would expect the vast majority of Celtic’s away games to be broadcast on the channel. Especially considering it’s the sole reason many Hoops fans actually subscribe to them in the first place.
That they’re snubbing this and the Hibernian match isn’t a great look. Fans are paying a lot of money for not a great deal at the moment. Having to fork out extra for fixtures we assumed would be broadcast on Sky is massively frustrating.
But fair play to Motherwell. They’ve done anything but take advantage of the Celtic fans here.
