Neil Lennon has lifted the lid on Celtic’s transfer policy should Kieran Tierney depart the club. The Hoops boss has revealed that should the left-back leave, Celtic will sign a new left-back, despite the recent arrival of Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo.
“We would look to bring another one in as well if KT goes” Lennon said whilst discussing the left-back situation at the club, as reported by the Daily Record.
Future will be decided sooner rather than later

Tierney’s future will be decided sooner rather than later. As yet, Arsenal have not returned with another bid for the player. That is despite plenty of speculation.
However, the English transfer window closes on the 8th of August at five o’clock. That is just over a week away. Therefore, if Arsenal still want to sign Tierney that will have to move fast.
Celtic won’t want Tierney to leave, but if their valuation is met, the Hoops may well accept the bid.
Strategy is a sensible one

Celtic’s strategy regarding Tierney seems to be a sensible one. The Hoops have got a left-back in already, as they needed another one.
Bolingoli can play if Tierney leaves. Should Tierney stay, they can battle it out for the left-back position. However, should Tierney leave, the Hoops will bring in another left-back to try to win a place in the first-team.
It is a decision that will be backed by the majority of the Hoops support.
