One of the most intriguing aspects of Celtic’s season has been the lack of game time for Greg Taylor. Since joining the Hoops on deadline day from Kilmarnock, the left-back has yet to make an appearance for the first-team.
Now Hoops manager Neil Lennon has commented on the situation, and has confirmed he has spoken to Taylor about his lack of game time.
Lennon does not think there is anything sinister about Taylor’s absence, just that he has been ‘unlucky’ to come up against a player like Boli Bolingoli who has been in good form at left-back.
“He’ll get his chance”

“Taylor has been unlucky with Bolingoli being in such good form. I spoke to him this week, and he’ll get his chance soon” Lennon told the Celtic Twitter account.
Taylor’s chance for Celtic could come sooner rather than later. The reason for that is the incredibly busy schedule that the Hoops have coming up.
They have three games coming up in the next week, against Aberdeen, St Mirren and Hibernian. It is probably too much to expect of Bolingoli to play in those three games.
Could feature in midweek league encounter

Therefore, it would not be a surprise to see Taylor feature in one of those games. The game that he seems most likely to feature in is the game against St Mirren.
That will come in-between the league visit to Aberdeen, and the Betfred Cup semi-final against Hibs. Bolingoli seems likely to start in those fixtures.
Taylor can give him a rest by starting against St Mirren. It will do the player good to make his debut in a game that the Hoops will be expected to win.
