Celtic interim boss Neil Lennon has admitted that the Hoops missed Tom Rogic in the recent 0-0 draw with Aberdeen.
Rogic is not far away from making his return to the Hoops side after a knee injury. Lennon is hopeful that when Rogic returns to the side, his ‘maverick’ attacking can turn any potential draws into victories.
“Tom can bring that”

“We’ve missed that maverick kind of player and little bit of creativity. Tom can bring that” he told the Daily Record.
He also admitted that Rogic’s return from injury would be a boost mentally to his Hoops team-mates.

“He’s a big-game player, and he has proven that over the last couple of years. It’ll give everyone a huge lift psychologically to have him back involved again.”
A game tailor-made for Rogic

The recent draw with Aberdeen was a match tailor-made for Rogic. The Dons sat in for a lot of the game and the Hoops found them very difficult to break down.
Rogic’s guile and creativity would have surely unlocked the defence, and led to chances for the Hoops attack. Celtic created very few chances in the game, that would not have happened had Rogic been playing.
Turning draws into victories is something that Rogic specialises in. Look at the 2017 Scottish Cup Final for example. If the Hoops need that bit of extra to drag them to the title, Rogic can more than provide that spark.
