Neil Lennon has given a positive update on the overall fitness of Celtic trio Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and James Forrest.
None of the three are injured at present, but it is often felt that they perhaps play too much football due to their importance to the team.
Between them, they’ve registered 147 appearances this season (Celtic Fitba Stats), with McGregor leading the way on 51 starts.

But despite that immense number, Lennon doesn’t see them hitting the buffers anytime soon as he gave a glowing report on all three.
He told the Daily Record: “They’re showing no signs of their batteries running out at the moment, that’s for sure.
“Scott Brown missed the Kilmarnock game and Callum McGregor’s only missed two all season I think.
“Jamesie is one that you do have to keep an eye on a little bit, with the volume of games he plays and some of the hits he takes
as well.
“But he bounces back and his form has been fantastic over the last month or so.”

It’s easy to see why Lennon plays the trio virtually every game
Much has been made of the fact McGregor and Brown feature so often in the first-team.
Yes, it would be ideal to be able to rest either from time to time, but their impact on the team is so huge that we lose something every time they sit on the bench.
That’s where you’ve got to have some degree of sympathy for Lennon.
Every single game is a big one for Celtic and you want your best players on the pitch.

If McGregor and Brown are fit and keen to play, then why wouldn’t you?
We could definitely do with finding some back-up for Forrest before the start of next season though.
Due to the winger’s playing style, he’s always likely to blow hot and cold. But having someone who can step in when he’s struggling a little seems like a must for the summer.
Who knows, perhaps that man could still be Marian Shved.
