Celtic manager has provided fans with an injury update on duo Kristoffer Ajer and Odsonne Edouard after tonight’s win over Swedish champions AIK, The Daily Record report.
Ajer limped off after 15 minutes, replaced by Anthony Ralston, while Edouard looked to be in discomfort later in the second half.
There’s good news and bad news with regards to Sunday’s match against Rangers.
Lennon reckons the Norwegian is a major doubt, while the French striker should make it.
As quoted by The Daily Record, the manager said: “It’s a groin strain for Kris so he’s going to be very doubtful for Sunday.
“Odsonne should be fine as he came off with a bit of cramp.”

A debut for Bauer?
Ajer has of course been primarily deployed as a right-back recently. That’s been due to a lack of depth beyond injured defender Hatem Abd Elhamed.
However, after signing Moritz Bauer on Wednesday, Lennon now has another option to call upon.
The player suggested after he signed he was ready and eager to feature at Ibrox (The Evening Times).
Either way it’s a huge call for Lennon to make. If Bauer isn’t ready, presumably Anthony Ralston would be given the nod.
The homegrown prospect is inexperienced and hasn’t looked quite up to scratch, but he may well be the safer option than handing a new player a high pressure debut.
