With Celtic having now qualified for the Europa League group stages, fans will be hoping that the Hoops now go out and sign some players.
However, manager Neil Lennon is refusing to confirm or deny that the Scottish champions will bring in any more players before the side play Rangers on Sunday. He did confirm though, that he will be speaking to Hoops chief Peter Lawwell after the game.
“I couldn’t tell you”

“Possibly, possibly. I couldn’t tell you, I will have to speak with the big man after here and I’m sure he will be delighted with everything so far” Lennon said, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Despite the exciting nature of the 4-1 win over AIK, Celtic do need reinforcements, particularly in defence. The attack looked superb against the Swedish champions.
Defence needs reinforcements

The same cannot be said though, about the Hoops defence, which at times looked all over the place. Neil Lennon and Peter Lawwell will no doubt be well aware of that.
The Hoops have yet to spend any of the £25 million that was received from Arsenal for Kieran Tierney. Some of that money could be spent in the next few days on some players that will enhance the squad.
The players don’t even need to be signed in time for the Glasgow derby on Sunday. As long as they are signed before the transfer window closes on Monday at midnight, fans will be satisfied.
If significant signings are not made by then though, fans will have every right to be disappointed.
