Neil Lennon has disclosed that he has been delighted with the performances of Odsonne Edouard since he became Celtic manager for the second time.
However, he has revealed that there is still something that he does not yet know about the striker – that is if he can play as part of a two-man strike force.
Lennon has indicated that he plans to find out if Edouard will work in a strike partnership.

“Not had the chance”
“I’ve not seen whether Odsonne plays better off a striker, but we’ve probably not had the chance. He did very well as the lone striker, and he took on that responsibility very well” Lennon said, as reported by the Herald.
“I know what I have with Odsonne and there is a lot more to come from him. He is only 21 so there is a lot of scope for development there.”

Would add new dimension to team
It would certainly add a new dimension to Celtic if Edouard was in a partnership with Leigh Griffiths. As the Hoops are in action in the Champions League very soon, now isn’t the time to start the partnership.

However, it could be worth trying in a league game or in the Betfred Cup. Edouard has played practically all of his Celtic career as the lone striker.
It remains to be seen if he would work in a strike partnership. It would be a boost for Celtic if he could.
