The way Celtic have responded to their only league defeat of the season has impressed Neil Lennon. The Hoops slumped to a 2-0 loss to Livingston in October. Albeit the team were reduced to 10 men in the game when Ryan Christie was red carded in the first-half.
Since the loss though, the Hoops have won every single league match they have played – that’s 11 games. That is a remarkable achievement, and Lennon has praised how his team have bounced back from what could have been a costly loss.
“We’ve been so consistent”

“We’ve been so consistent since losing to Livingston. It’s been a spectacular reaction” Lennon said, as reported by the Scottish Sun.
“No matter who we have played, or what changes we have made, the squad has been absolutely superb”. He then turned his attention to Sunday’s game against Rangers.
“Now we play Rangers and I’d like them to finish off what has been a great year for me personally, and the club, on a high.”
Perhaps the only slight disappointment for Celtic is that despite the consistency shown by the team, they have not yet managed to shake off the challenge of Rangers.
Win over rivals would set up second-half of the season

However, that could change with a win on Sunday. The Hoops would go eight points clear of their bitter if they win a 12th consecutive league game.
Rangers might have a game in hand, but you would still expect the Hoops’ lead to be enough to build on in the second-half of the season.
Celtic have answered almost every question that has been posed of the team so far this season. Even when the team has not played that well they have managed to pull off a victory.
The Hoops’ performances might have tailed off slightly in recent weeks. However, that that doesn’t mean that they don’t have the fighting spirit to defeat Rangers. One more good result is required to set the Hoops up for the second-half of the season. You wouldn’t bet against this current Celtic side getting the win that puts them on course for nine in a row.
