Celtic boss Neil Lennon has paid tribute to the duo of Scott Brown and James Forrest for the consistency they have shown in both his spells as Hoops boss, the official Celtic website reports.
The duo have been at the heart of all of Celtic’s success in the last 10 years, helping the Hoops to eight league titles. Lennon has nothing but admiration for the pair.
“So consistent”
“The club has been so consistent over the past few years, and when you think of the likes of Scott Brown and James Forrest who’ve been there for all of the titles – to have already won eight league titles in a row is just an amazing level of consistency, and under pressure as well” he said, as quoted by the official Celtic website.

The duo have nothing short of incredible for Celtic in the last decade. When you consider all the changes that have occurred at the club, one of the very few constants has been the form of Brown and Forrest.
Brown is coming towards the end of his career, but was still at his best this season before the lockdown.
As for Forrest, he has been superb for the Hoops in the last few seasons, he seems to be improving as a player as he gets older.
Lockdown cut duo off in their prime
Sadly, as with Brown, his season has been ended early due to the football lockdown.

However, when football does return to Scotland, expect Brown and Forrest to be two of Celtic’s most important, and best players.
They have already been doing it for a decade, it is unlikely to stop now, they are too good to allow that to happen.
