Celtic manager Neil Lennon has won his second manager of the month award.

The Irishman has had a fantastic couple of months domestically and in Europe. He has been rightly awarded for making the Hoops unstoppable in recent matches – going 11-in-a-row in wins.

Lennon is proving a lot of his doubters wrong that voiced their dismay about him getting the job.

The 48-year-old was only a temporary solution for some fans after Brendan Rodgers left in February. He was given the job moments after sealing Celtic’s third consecutive treble in May.

A new dawn beckons for Celtic in Europe, as Joe Hart shows his class once again

Now Lennon is celebrating some personal award winning with his second manager of the month of the season.

The Hoops are sitting top of the Scottish Premiership by two points following Wednesday’s results. Lennon must take a lot of credit for how the team is performing, going a 11 victories on the trot. Not only that, he is a major factor in the Hoops getting through in the Europa League as group winners.

The fans giving him stick will be feeling silly now but will not care one bit. The icing will be on top of the cake with Lennon holding up the League Cup on Sunday.

Hoops fans react to Irishman’s winning ways

Celtic fans are congratulating the gaffer on Twitter for winning another award.

Lennon may have scooped one award this week but all eyes or on Sunday afternoon. If the Irishman gets the Hoops over the line for that, then it will be a week he will never forget as boss.
