Celtic supporters enjoyed the heart-thumping win over Hearts on Thursday night, as the Bhoys kept pace with league leaders Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
A solitary Kyogo Furuhashi goal was enough to secure the three points. It was an effort that has created lots of controversy for those in Scotland not of a Celtic persuasion. He was on the edge of being offside before sticking his effort away, staying level with the ball before it was delivered into the box by Anthony Ralston.
And supporters are loving the club’s “Unique Angle” footage of the goal, which shows the expert finish and Kyogo’s passionate celebration in front of supporters. You can see this below or via this link.
As one fan replied, Kyogo just “gets it” at Celtic this season. He appears to be a born winner and coming to Celtic in an effort to win trophies could pay off as early as this month at Hampden.
That there has been such an overreaction to offside calls, players going down and such today shows how worried the rest of Scottish football is about Celtic this season.
Ange Postecoglou and Kyogo are living in their heads rent-free at the moment, regardless of what they’ve done.
Celtic need to carry this momentum through the rest of the month of course. We need this determination, we need these scrappy results, we need the points. As I’ve said countless times, if we make it into the new year four points behind Rangers or closer we’ll be in great shape for the rest of the season.
For now, supporters are happy to continue backing the team, taking to social media today to share their delight with what they’ve seen from this unique angle footage and the reactions of the Celtic team…
