The transfer window always brings a plethora of headlines for the Celtic fans as they prepare for potential incomings and outgoings.
Brendan Rodgers has been kept busy after adding four new players to the ranks as well as making sure those player’s surplus to requirements are moved on from Celtic.
But it seems that the Celtic boss may have something else on his plate after Motherwell’s new boy, Tawanda Maswanhise, shares that he plans to ‘have a word’ with Rodgers the next time he sees him.
Rodgers ‘taught’ Maswanhise
The Zimbabwe international was brought through the Leicester City ranks by Rodgers and he made his debut for The Foxes last season in a 3-2 FA Cup win against Millwall.
Freed at the end of last season, Maswanhise has now signed a deal with Motherwell until at least January 2025 and he has said he plans to have a chat with Rodgers the next time he sees him.
Speaking in Glasgow World, Maswanhise said, “I was always in and out but it was good when I was getting coached by Brendan. He taught me a lot to be fair.
“I’ll have a word with him. Hopefully, it’s positive and a little catch-up would be nice. I was a young 18-year-old when he brought me into the team and now I am 21.
“I am a lot faster, stronger and a bit smarter.”

Look at Celtic’s fixtures, the youngster won’t have too long to wait as Celtic visit Motherwell on the 26th of October.
Celtic have had a storming start to the season with two convincing wins over Kilmarnock and Hibs in the league and then again in the League Cup on Sunday against David Gray’s side.
With Rodgers having his team playing some excellent football so far, hopefully, the chat being planned by the young Motherwell winger will be after the Celtic boss claims all three Premiership points.
