Olivier Ntcham’s season at Celtic has been full of ups and downs.
On the plus side he scored the only goal in the 1-0 win over Rangers in August. He also signed a new long-term deal with the Hoops.
On the downside he was dreadful in the 1-0 loss to Rangers in December.

Added to this Porto tried to sign the player in August, but Celtic knocked back a £13 million bad.
The player is currently injured, but Hoops assistant Chris Davies revealed on Celtic’s official Twitter account that he is back in training.
The thing that has to be considered now though, is where does Ntcham fit in the team? The answer for the moment would be ‘nowhere’.

It has taken a long-time for Celtic to find a settled midfield. At the moment Brendan Rodgers seems to have struck gold with the trio of Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie.
The blend of attack and defence has worked a treat in recent weeks.

Ntcham hasn’t really kicked-on as much as many fans would have hoped this season. The ongoing speculation surrounding his future perhaps doesn’t help.
The Daily Record reported that Porto are once again set to bid for the player, but this time in the summer. If a huge bid does comes in, the Celtic board would have a big decision to make.
Ntcham can still go on to become a great player for the Hoops. At the moment though, his time at the club seems to be stalling.
