As a result of this honour, Craig will join the likes of former Hoops captains Roy Aitken Tom Boyd and former manager Davie Hay in the role of ambassador.
Won a host of honours at Celtic

Everybody knows that Craig was part of Celtic’s greatest ever side, the Lisbon Lions. However, it should be pointed out that he won a host of other trophies in his time at the club.
He won seven league titles, four Scottish Cups and four league cups, and incredible haul of honours.
As one of the lynchpins of Celtic’s greatest ever side, it is good to see the club giving Craig the official honour he deserves.
The Lisbon Lions will always be rightfully lauded by the Hoops support. Therefore, it is no surprise that the appointment of Craig has gone down well with the fans.
