Read MoreOdsonne Edouard is loving Tom Rogic's latest Celtic Instagram post
Tom Rogic was a big miss for Celtic vs Livingston yesterday and I’m sure his absence will also be felt against Ferencvaros and Dundee this coming week.
Rogic is out of action for a number of weeks after picking up a hamstring injury against Hibs on Wednesday night. Ange Postecoglou has confirmed he won’t be back until after the next international break.
The Australian midfielder was superb in the first half at Easter Road, regularly embarrassing opponents, most notably Alex Gogic. And Rogic clearly enjoyed his battle against the rhyming namesake, posting a picture on Instagram of being manhandled by the Hibs man after the Celtic star burst past him.
And the post went down a treat with someone Rogic’s fellow pros and former teammates, with Odsonne Edouard leading the plaudits with a simple: “Woow 😂🔥🔥”
Meanwhile Socceroo Ryan McGowan said: “C’mon mate, man’s got a family 😂”
Boli Bolingoli and Tony Watt all left comments, alongside hundreds of Celtic supporters. The post has also racked up tens of thousands of likes.
Celtic 0-0 Livingston | Full-Time Reaction
The referee didn’t give Rogic much protection against these rather industrious challenges from his Hibs opponents. Although, Gogic did have to be subbed off for risk of picking up a red card, given how regularly Rogic and Celtic were exposing him.
The sooner we get Rogic back the better. Although, the manager does need to find attacking solutions in the next two matches. We need more creativity and cutting edge in the final third even without the attacking midfield.
In other news, Jozo Simunovic names hilarious Celtic tackle as one of his career highlights.
