Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has revealed the ‘best moment’ of his career so far. The Hoops’ record signing has admitted to the Celtic Twitter account that his winning goal against Hearts in the Scottish Cup Final has provided the highlight.
“I was very happy”
“I was very happy” he disclosed. “When it went in, I realised how much it meant to the fans. It’s the best moment of my career so far.”
The goal will go down in history as the one which clinched the ‘treble treble’ for Celtic. It shouldn’t be forgotten that Edouard also got the Hoops back into the game after going one-nil down with a well-taken penalty.

Perfect end to a great season
It was the perfect end to a great season for the attacker, who came into the season under some pressure as the Hoops’ record signing.
However, he more than lived up to expectations. He thrived in the team, ending the season with 22 goals. He also scored some very important goals, including a goal against Rangers.

Neil Lennon has seen Edouard chip in with some vital goals since he took over as Hoops manager. There is no doubt that the striker will be one of the first names on the team-sheet next season.
Will he score as important a goal again in his Hoops career? Who can say. But he will go down in history as the man who clinched the ‘treble treble’.
