Odsonne Edouard was one of three Betfred Cup final injury doubts to train with Celtic on Tuesday morning, according to a renowned journalist.
STV’s Raman Bhardwaj tweeted to confirm that the prolific Frenchman had taken to the field at Lennoxtown alongside fellow fitness doubts Mohamed Elyounoussi and Boli Bolingoli.
Odsonne Edouard, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Boli Bolingoli all trained with the Celtic squad this morning. Will get a full update on their fitness after 12.30

Edouard has missed our last two matches after going off midway through the second-half of our 4-0 win over Livingston last month. Elyounoussi has been missing since before the international break while Bolingoli hasn’t been seen since our semi-final win over Hibernian over a month ago.
Having key trio fit would be a monumental boost to Celtic
The news of the trio being in training will be seen as a real boost to Neil Lennon’s side. The Northern Irishman didn’t exactly exude complete confidence that the three, and Jonny Hayes, would be fit for the final when speaking at the weekend.
He told the Daily Record: “Elyounoussi should be training Wednesday or Thursday so he should have a good chance of making it.
“We’re not sure on Boli yet. He might be a doubt. Jonny Hayes should be fine. I’m hoping Odsonne will be okay as well.
Now it seems like everyone is ahead of schedule for what will be a mammoth meeting with Rangers. Edouard, Elyounoussi and Bolingoli are all pretty likely to start if fit so the effect that will have on proceedings can’t be underestimated.
But don’t be surprised to see Lennon temper expectations when he meets press on Tuesday. Playing down the chances of his returning players, only to unleash them at the last minute on Sunday, seems like an ideal game plan.
