Oliver Burke has done very well for Celtic since joining the club in January from West Brom. He has scored two goals in five games, which is a more than decent return.

Burke’s start becomes even better when you consider that he has been playing out of position for the Hoops. Injuries have meant that the natural winger has started as a striker.

However, injuries have now presented him with the chance of playing in his natural position. It is a chance he has to take.

James Forrest became the latest Celtic player to join the injury list when he limped off in the 2-0 win over St Johnstone. Hoops assistant Chris Davies confirmed on the club’s Twitter that Forrest would be out for a period of time.

With Forrest out, Burke has the chance to make the right-wing position his own. He seems certain to play in his natural position against Hibernian on Wednesday night. With a good performance he can keep his place in the side, even when Forrest returns.

Of course, Burke’s future at Celtic is only short-term, as he is set to return to West Brom at the end of the season. However, he can make his stay memorable at the very least with a spell playing in his natural position.
