Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham is now set to return to the club, after his under-21 European Championship adventure came to an end.
Spain defeated Ntcham’s France side 4-1 in the semi-final of the tournament. Interestingly enough, Ntcham did not play any part in the game, as he was an unused substitute.
Didn’t feature in game

Would he have been able to help his country win the game? Who can say, but he will feel disappointed not to have made it onto the pitch.
You would imagine that Ntcham will now have a brief break, then return to Celtic to sort out his future at the club.

Player’s future has to be resolved
It is important that the club and the player come to a solution about Ntcham’s future. There are a number of clubs that are reportedly interested in buying the player.

Perhaps Celtic would consider selling Ntcham if the price is right. On his day, he has been an excellent player for the Hoops. But last season wasn’t his best for the club.
Maybe Neil Lennon will consider Ntcham one of the key men for the team going forward. A player that he wants to build the team around. That does seem a tad unlikely though.
Ntcham’s future will need to be sorted sooner rather than later, particularly if Celtic want to sign a replacement. It will be intriguing to see where the player’s future lies.
