Celtic fans will be impressed with recent comment made by January signing Oliver Burke. He has revealed to the club’s Twitter account that the squad is aiming to impress interim manager Neil Lennon.
Burke has disclosed that he aims to impress Lennon by ‘putting in performances and working hard in training’. He also admits that the players have a ‘clean slate to impress’ Lennon.
Terrific attitude to the game

Burke’s attitude is terrific, especially when you consider that he is only on loan at the club. He seems to have settled in to life at Celtic, and the change of manager hasn’t affected that.
Burke has already made impact

Neil Lennon has already seen the impact Burke can have on the team. His blistering run and pass to James Forrest put the Hoops 1-0 up against Hearts in Lennon’s first game as interim boss.

It is likely that Burke is going to be a key man for the Hoops as the season approaches its climax. It will be intriguing to see if Lennon elects to play Burke up-front, or on the wing. He has done well for the Hoops in both positions so far, and has four goals in 12 appearances for the Hoops so far.
There is no doubt that whoever is manager at Celtic would like to make Burke’s loan move from West Brom a permanent one. It remains to be seen if that actually happens. But for now, Burke looks set to be a key player in Celtic’s quest for the domestic treble.
